From the Zenoss Testing Blog:
Thursday, January 21st will be the second Zenoss QA Test Day, this time covering our still-in-development 2.5.2 maintenance release. For a quick look at what is targeted to the 2.5.2 release, you can view report #6 on Trac - http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/report. A number of fixes around the Event Console have made it in, as well as hardening around ZenPack installs, network hierarchy nesting fixes, and some zenmib fixes. Altogether, almost 80 fixes are targeted to 2.5.2. The primary goal of the Test Day is to work with the 2.5.2-beta installers, testing fresh installs and upgrades, as well as examining functionality in 2.5.2 itself, to make sure no regressions are present. Special focus will again be directed to the updated Event Console and the resulting fixes.
As always, our stretch goal is to get some community members interacting directly with Test Link. In order for Zenoss' QA efforts to scale with new features as well as continue to increase regression coverage, we will need assistance from the Zenoss Community. The benefits to product quality go both directions, though, and hopefully people will continue to realize how important this is as we move forward.
